Month: July, 2011
You may remember that we photographed Lauren and Joe’s engagement session last January. It happened to be the year’s coldest day. With the windchill it was 20 degrees below zero. Well, this past weekend we had the pleasure of spending the day with them once again, on the year’s hottest day – 105+. They seemed unfazed by what Mother Nature dished out and as a result we were able to make some wonderful photographs together.
When Glenn and I first met Nicole and Andrew some months ago we knew that their wedding would be amazing. They are so full of energy and life. I knew we had not misjudged them when Nicole busted out bright red bridal shoes. 200 family and friends danced the night away to the sounds of Stages, but when the couple hit the dance floor they owned it. It was one incredible party! Hope you both have a spectacular life together.
The hallmarks of a perfect Irish wedding: bagpiper – check, bar stocked with Magners – check, plenty of guests equipped with Irish brogue – check, room full of people who know how to have a great time check! What can I say, no one parties like the Irish.
Kristin and Tom were introduced to us, as many of our couples are, by a mutual friend. When we first sat down to discuss the possibility of photographing their wedding we met with not only Kristin and Tom, but their parents as well. All eight of us instantly hit it off. Such sweet and warm people. We knew that we definitely wanted to photograph their wedding. So when they called the next day to say that they indeed wanted us to be part of their day we were thrilled.
