The 2013 Children’s Aid and Family Services Gala was a rousing success and once again Timothy Glenn Photographers were there to cover the festivities. There was a circus atmosphere at this year’s event hosted by Macaluso’s in Hawthorne NJ with the theme titled “Under the Big Top”. Guests enjoyed a light hearted evening with clowns, jugglers and stiltwalkers, all under the direction of the ringmaster, CAFS CEO Bob Jones. All in all there was a great turnout under the big top on this fun-filled night benefiting children and the wonderful work of CAFS.
Tim and Glenn continued work in the non profit arena in 2012 with Spectrum for Living. Spectrum is an organization providing clinical services for people with disabilities, staffed with dedicated professionals and volunteers whose focus is on improving lives. In June Timothy Glenn Photographers covered the Spectrum Gala at The Grove in Cedar Grove. The event honored Joe and Cheryl Marino and featured former Rutgers and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers football coach Greg Schiano as a guest speaker. Attendees were treated to entertainment provided the big band Bounce, can-can and ballet dancers, and a Vegas style casino night.
In October, Spectrum held their Northern NJ walk at Van Saun Park in Paramus. The giggle therapist was on hand catching smiles with his yellow hoop. Hot dogs, cupcakes, music, dancing and of course… a walk in the park, were the order of the day. Friends and family came out on this beautiful Sunday to contribute to what turned out to be a wonderful outing for everyone.
Timothy Glenn Photographers were very honored to be asked to participate in The United Way’s 14th annual “Night of Miracles” Gala on May 3rd 2012 at the Pleasantdale Chateau located in West Orange, NJ. “The Night of Miracles” is the United Way of Essex and West Hudson’s premier event of the year. The 2012 Event Chair, Robyn Pitts announced that TV Personality and Celebrity Event Designer, Samantha Goldberg has been selected as the gala’s “Designer-Orchestrator”. This year’s event honored individuals who are building healthy communities through their work in the areas of education, income, health and developing community linkages/service.
